New Samsung 12-24 bargain

What a bargain! - Only £399 at Park Cameras LINK

If you want the best WA for a Pentax and can only dream of a DA 12-24, then, apart from the short lived Currys £199 clearout, this must be the deal of the year.

Always happens to me having spent more than that for a second user one from SRS! - Oh well, that's life.
Best regards

Well that explains why mine isn't selling yet! Mind you, I've ordered 3 "bargains" off of Park in the past (16-45, grip and something else I can't remember) and none of them materialised - all out-of-stock. Go for it people and if someone could nudge me when they're all gone I'll re-list mine, thankyou...

They also have the 100mm macro for £269.99. I just ordered one, I just hope they have some left!

I think that many of these bargains do not exist and are just teasers to get you hooked

Just checked with Park about my 100mm macro order.

They have it in stock and it's all okay and I should have it tomorrow!

Hmm yes the macro deal has caused my problem in deciding between the Pentamsung and the Tamron. Damn Park and their silly prices!

And perhaps give me a nudge at the same time and I can then relist my D-FA 100mm macro .. saying that I wasn't exactly upset it didn't sell.

Hi Lance, not splashing out, well not really!

I've wanted a 100mm macro since my istD days to complement my FA50 macro, which, as you know, I've had from my pre-digital days.

Plus, as you know, I only go for primes when they're macro's. The 100mm enables me to step back from the bugs and stops me stepping on the flower beds!

I've resisted from buying one due to the cost, as even the pre-increase price was a bit steep, but this deal was financially acceptable!

A high performing ultra wide has also been on my radar for a similar period. As you know I was dissapointed with the two Sigma 10-24's I had right after we met up in France in 2006. I tried the DA 12-24 very shortly afterwards and even though it was superior in every way, for various reasons I never pulled the trigger on one.

The Tamron 10-24 reawakened my interest, but the 12-24 was again so much better I decided to buy an unmarked s/h D-Xenon from SRS a few days ago. Unfortunately it was more expensive than the new ones Park have on offer at the moment! But then, isn't that always the way?!
Best regards

I've just given Park a ring and unfortunately they're all out of stock

I was too slow out of the blocks!

Is that the 12-24mm? If so I've got one in mint condition for £380 with free postage!
