Just a heads up for anyone looking for one, as I hear they don't become available that often. One just came up on Ebay today starting at £19.99. Just put in Tamron 70-210 19Ah and you should find it easily.

It seems that they are trying to make ebay totally useless

If you put in Tamron 70-210mm you used to get a listing showing
all the matches.... now you get a listing under which they have
grouped the lenses (using their criteria) and you get 5 available...
2 available... 1 available etc.

Then when you click 5, 2, or 1 you get a further list, but
under the same tab..... which loses all the others
Also you don't see any photos if there are multiple items
in the group I thought the idea of the photos was
to sell the items?

It's the similar with completed listings.... you click an
item to see the original listing..... they decide you DON'T
really want to see the original listing so they show you another
page that has a selection on it to see the original listing
that you wanted to see in the first place.

All this is just going to slow down peoples browsing and they
will only have time to buy less stuff.....

It will help with the PITA posters who post hundreds
of listings of the same item such as an SDHC card
but ebay should have just banned that practise years
ago.

I'm sorry. I'm really, really sorry but I just cannot help myself.

"Fixe's"? The apostrophe is not needed, I fear.

I've spent too much time marking essays. I keep having to clean the red ink from my laptop's screen.

Again, apologies for turning into the grammar police, but that was just a couple of pixels too far.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

There's one with a bit of fungus for £13.99 BIN + £5.60

Quite a heavy lens and no AF. The Pentax 55-300mm is a
much better bet and covers a bigger range.

Great rant Algy . Hope you found the item anyway.
And nice one Womble, it's reassuring to know I'm not the only
one who's anally retentive about English Grammar
And thanks Betty for helping Algy down from his soap box - ah, now you
have to be over a certain age to understand that reference methinks.

This is only the second topic I have started and both have caused
a little storm in a teacup (with a Gorilla on it of course)

Altering the view settings to what I originally chose (ending soonest) has fixed it

Not very nice of Ebay to change mine and millions of others
settings to what they thought we'd like. Quite a lot of people
won't realize what's happened.
