Which version is it? Does it come with an adapter? If not PK/A adapter, add £50.
I have the 52BB version 1:2 macro. It has an extension tube for 1:1 but I find it fiddly and reserve the lens for larger subjects. I think it is a brilliant lens. Can post sample shots if you wish.

its the 52bb no ex tube all ready have a pka adapter

If you can get one for £70, and its in decent condition, then get it quick. They usually sell for more than that these days. Tamrons offical 2"/50mm extension to achieve true 1:1 is not necessary, if you want 1:1 macro. Any 2"/50mm K mount ext. tube will do the same thing.

Good for you Reso. I was too late to respond, but I do have this lens, and its a cracker. And for £70 a bargain too (second hand prices seem to hover around the £120 mark)
Its also a stunning Portrait lens too, and very sharp.
