The ubiquitous 135mm f2.8 lens was available from just about every manufactrurer who made a lens and every seller who stuck a label on...
Typically 4 element lenses, the Pentax one may be four or five elements depending on the type and will certainly colour match the rest of the pentax lenses much better.
Considering the low cost of all of them, buy the Pentax is my advice.

I'll second that - the 135 3.5 can be had very cheaply and is a great little lens. I got one for £25 + 3.99 postage of ebay the other week to match my newly acquired ME super (also £25). There never was an M 2.8. The A 2.8 is somewhat larger and fetches rather more. The SMC K 2.5 is legendary and expensive. The (non SMC) K Takumar 2.5 is OK and cheap, but not nearly as neat and sharp as the 3.5. Then there is the A* 1.8....

I have a Tamron 135mm f2.5 ADII. It is a great little lens - nice and bright, easy to focus with very decent results. The only drawback is that contrast is not as good as comparable Pentax lenses (so I am told) but nothing that cannot be sorted is PP.
This lens and it's little brother, the 24mm f2.5 are the main reasons that I came back to Pentax after many years using Nikon.
