I wasn't able to ride on it this year, nor go to Corfe Castle station, but I did have time for a quick jaunt around Swanage station one morning before the CoOp opened for breakfast supplies.

Just had the K7 and SMC F35-70mm .....

Thanks Neil and Don. .... Neil, well worth the drive around I'd say. Park at the end near Corfe and take the train into Swanage.

Some nicely observed details, Nigel. I haven't been there for years.
Best wishes,

Andrew

Ah, well at least there's no parking concerns then! I'm sure it will be a great day, there's loads too see in the area and Purbeck is lovely to drive through.

Thanks also Andrew .... I can't believe though that there's been no protest march organised about my colour pop one there!

Its my controversial nature coming through! I thought it's been a long while around here since anyone got some real stick for a blatant colour pop!

Actually, there is some logic to it .....I decided on the mono because looking hard at the image I could not find ANY modern intrusions. ..... It all looked like it could have been taken in the pre-war years .... Except his Hi-Vi jacket!

No, these were taken before I got the 28-105 .... No doubt if I'd had it in Swanage it would have been on the camera that day! But I still think the little F35-70 will still be put to work sometimes as well.

Your little F 35-70 seems far superior to my little F 28-80 (mind, if it had been really good I wouldn't have bothered getting myself the 28-105.)

A wonderful set, Nigel. It is a very well-kept line, and you've brought out all the colours on the railway very well. I enjoy the touch of humour in the colour pop! I'll have to go back one day when the weather is more favourable than it was for me this year.

Cheers.
Philip
