Swallowtail butterflies

You wern't the guy with the 3 flash heads mounted on a ring mount on the end of the lens were you? I saw lots of butterflies, no swallowtails thou, must look harder.....

No, but I was with someone with a nikon d300 + sigma macro with 3 flash heads mounted on the end. I was the young(er) chap with a beard and light brown hat.

Your shots are pretty good (esp the swan + cygneys and damselfly). If you want swallowtails you need to head to the doctors garden (10mins walk, back up the entrance road and left) where he has planted flowers to attract them and put up this sign




Thanks again to everyones kind words, but if you want really impressive wildlife shots, Daniel Bridge is in Wales at the mo and has been to the Red Kite feeding station in grigin with 300m f4.....gona be interesting to see what he's got!
