When I search in Google I get to the brandname: Schacht Travenar
It was a German manufacturer. I see it allso quite a lot mentioned together with praktica, the old East-German manufacturer of SLR camera's.
I allso found a notion of someone buying Travenar lenses in his poorer days (but that is highly relative...).

Now that I look closer, I see this as a rather misleading eBay offer where the title implies Pentax and the description says Pentax fit.

7592236100 on eBay shows a Pentax Super Travenar 80 - 200 MC lens.
I've not heard of Super Travenar lenes? Are they in fact, Pentax?
Have I not heard of them because George has bought them all and they are (except this one) grazing on his private preserve?
This one has a very low starting bid by the way.....
