Pentax 67 35mm fisheye

Could anyone advise me on the best course of action with a 67 Fisheye lens that has a small chip in the front element, it doesnt affect the images but obviously would affect the resale value. The front element unscrews and I assume replacement would be straightforward.

Personally I would advise against trying to dismantle lenses. These are precision optics and putting them back together accurately may not be possible without the correct tools and calibration equipment.

If the pictures are OK then why not leave it at that. The cost of having the element replaced could well outweigh any price advantage that you might get by selling the lens.
