You did better that we did. Our moon was hidden behind buildings as well as clouds and looked remarkably not pink.
Best regards, John

It was clear here, the moon was bright and beautiful but absolutely not pink. Unless i have become colourblind with age.
Actually it is called the pink moon as it is named after the phlox which begin to bloom in April (in the US - the moon names tend to be native American names), also called the egg moon or hare moon.
Next month is the flower or corn planting moon.

Interesting! I spent my formative years in and around Merseyside in the late 60s and remember it being referred to as the Scaffold Moon or, more often, the Lily (the pink) moon. To this day I can't understand why.Actually it is called the pink moon as it is named after the phlox which begin to bloom in April (in the US - the moon names tend to be native American names), also called the egg moon or hare moon.

I didn't shoot it last night but someone with a camera phone locally did here and for a while it was very pink but died off quite quickly they posted.

Not pink here either ... K-1, 150-450mm, 1.4x WR. Hand Held.

I was interested to see how much the 1.4x had an effect on sharpness so here is one without the telelconverter and cropped to a similar size. (plus I dabbled with the colour a bit)
