Nice series. I like most the 3-rd and the last one.

The black and white image has possibilities, although the composition is a little too much like a series of horizontal stripes and something else may be needed.
The real thing that does need attention though are all the white specks. I think they would be better cloned out. As they are they look too much like a darkroom print with lots of dust spots.
I do like the set of images.

Maybe if you'd also grabbed a tripod you could have shot at f16 instead of f1.4 , the increased depth of field would have turned these "OK" shots into something much better.I grabbed my camera and ran ran down to the beach
There are three words to remember in landscape photography and those are Tripod Tripod Tripod
PS; I think you should shoot those grasses again but include less of the base and more of the sky (assuming its a nice sky)

I love #2 Rob
I took the liberty of having a look at it in Lightroom, it's looks pretty damn awsome in letterbox style with a small increase in red and orange saturation.
I won't post it here but you can download it from http://www.bjlawson.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/photos.html, I'll remove it tomorrow.

LBA is good for you, a Lens a day helps you work, rest and play.

Yeah that does look pretty good
But I think ill capture that on another day with true panorama, so that I get the resolution
Those wind turbines look nice against the (welsh? I think, this is from north of liverpool) mountains, dont they.

Anyway, here are a few that turned out okay:
(Both soft, maybe slightly off focus)
Only foreground in focus there
A black and white detail focus, for lilly
And my favourite from the few I took.
