A couple from this morning. Pentax K3 and 12-24. C&C most welcome. Months since I did this. Really enjoyed it.

I particularly like the first one with the line of the jetty pointing directly at the sun.

Superb set, and Congratulations on making the early start. Sunrises are so much easier to get up in time for in Winter !

Love the contrast between nos. 3 and 4! No. 3 just gets my vote for the gorgeous softness of the light and all the different textures in the scene. How lucky you are to live so near the sea, Alan!
Best wishes,

I have missed what used to be your signature shots Alan - very pleased you are back in the saddle with these!

As always - stunning shots of a place I have yet to see look even remotely like you make it look!

One of these days - must get there before dawn!

Just noticed the lighthouse one now Alan, and I love it! Again, beautiful colours and you caught the swish of foamy stuff at just the right second.I think it would be a little stronger with the lighthouse and buildings shunted just a tad leftward. Hope you can show us more of this great viewpoint soon

excellent shots, love all of these.

these are the type of images that inspire me to photography, but they are also the type of images that make me realise im not very good at it and want to give up.

All good shots but the first is my favourite. The wet reflective jetty gives it an unusual quality.
