I like how the view spreads out in 3, but my favourite is 12 - great dark tones in the landscape, contrasting with the antenna tower standing out against the bright/dark clouds.

Nos 3 and 4 for me; the contrast between the two and rather like your fav no 7 with a bit of HDR. The composition/ framing works well for me.

Thanks, all, for your comments. For me, it's real "heartland" country, walking distance from where I live, lovely views over all the folds in the land, livestock farming on the hillsides overlooking the big mills and old terraced houses in the valley bottoms, though not many mills still working these days. Add the canal and railway running under the Pennines and you have an area with all kinds of visual appeal!
