Although the narrow depth of field and subject matter make for some great images I am scratching my head at the shots taken into the sun but with such amazing, natural looking light on the subjects?

Anyone care to educate me because that link to the "how i do it" doesn't explain anything but the subject matter?

P.S. I think the background story that would have you believe this is some peasant milk maid who happened across a disused Full Frame DSLR left in a drawer by Daddy is complete tripe designed to create fame by pulling at heart strings.
