stuck!

Hi all,

I have a very old 'Photo of my Grandparents but it is stuck (in one small area) to the glass of the frame. I would like to remove it from the glass and get it retouched; I have tried soaking it in plain water with a tiny drop of fairy wash-up for 48 hours but no joy.
Got any ideas please?
You guy's always come up with the goods when I have a querie but I fear I may be unlucky this time

I usually photograph it through the glass instead of removing the original if it is stuck to the glass.
Put down your scanner and pick up your camera.

You could use a polariser to eliminate relections from the surfaces of the glass.
