The HDR effect is quite subtle, which I prefer. Some HDR look too "forced", but this is natural.

Wow, are they going to try and re-float that beast.
Couldn't you get the same effect from just an an ordinary single shot :

i was just going to post a standard picture but it did not look to good as the sun was making the picture hazy so took 3 seperate exposures +-0.5 and tried it in photomatrix and the picture just looked so much better. The boat looks a lot bigger when you are next to it pictures do not give a good impression of size.Apperently they hope to get it back in the water soon with a high tide.

There should be a very high tide on Thusday or Friday 'cos of the alignment of sun and moon early on Thursday morning ( about 1.30am I think). There will be a Lunar eclipse so an alert to you all if you are interested. Totallity is not until about 3.30am when the moon could well look a sort of redish colour if conditions are right. I've got the Tamron 500mm mirror primed and ready to go

She looks a much more sea-worthy craft than the one I am forced to use in these same freak-wave-infested waters. The IOM Steam Packet runs a huge hangar of a ferry with so much top-hamper that I am amazed it has survived so long.

one of the nicest HDR pictures I've seen, usually they look a bit weird for my taste. BTW I think your sensor could do with a clean.
