I'd like a more discrete strap - can't be doing with Pentax emblazoned all over and bright colours but I have yet to find a modestly priced well made one.

Well that's a thought but I have little confidence I could manage it! I have considered removing the embroidered Pentax on the standard strap.

Not cheap but I'll recommend OP/TECH Pro Strap's. very comfortable.
Cheers

Having has a quick look it does look good but it's hardly shy and retiring.

Another vote for the Op/Tech straps
In the past I'd had a Hama wide neoprene strap (from 7dayshop), but the Op/Tech is far superior! Extremely comfortable and very usable

I honestly don't think you can do better than the Pentax Sport Optics strap SRS have. It's got a bit of spring in it which damps the camera nicely as you walk so it doesn't bounce around. Rather a lot more expensive than that 7DayShop one, but I'd pay it again.
you don't have to be mad to post here
but it does help

Pentax strap is cheap because they need to get rid of them due to poor sales. Its RED and not wide enoughNot cheap but I'll recommend OP/TECH Pro Strap's. very comfortable.

If your talking about the strap in the 7 day shop link, it isn't a Pentax one. It says 'for PENTAX', using the same font Pentax uses. Therefore, it's a fake, so personally, I wouldn't recommend it.

It is a fair bit wider that the standard , a lot more comfy on your neck and dosent have the tendency to fold in half like some others and at a bargain price!
