Getting to know the combination of the K1 mkII and the D-FA 15-30/2.8 with the Lee SW150 and ND Grad - quite a bulky set-up but with a new Deeper Rucksack it's actually quite usable

I very seldom comment on others photographs, but I do like monochrome and this Lenny is an absolute cracker.

I agree, nice foreground interest that allows you to scan the sheds contents before the driveway then drawing you into the scene with the tree as a place stop for the frames edge.

I'd love that lens but I use 100 filters and I'm invested too much in them so alas a lens I can't justify at the mo

I used to drive past this every day both ways on the way too and from work, often thought that there was an image to be had. Nicely taken Lenny, typically mono isn't to my tastes, but I think it works well in your offering. So #1 for me.

Eerily moody and mysterious that first one LennyB - beautifully processed.

I think I'm beginning to be converted - the first one definitely seems to pack more punch! The colours of the second make the whole scene more friendly!

Mono for me too. The perspective sloping inevitable with a w/a lens is mildly disturbing in both versions. Personally I would have corrected perspective distortion, though that might have resulted in some loss of subject at the edges.
A few of my photographs in flickr.
Lizars 1910 "Challenge" quarter-plate camera; and some more recent stuff.
