Whenever I go to the Whitby Goths I meet up with a dedicated band of Pentax Users, but I'm also with some members fromn Durham Photographic Society, mainly Nikon and Canon guys. There will be hordes of photographers at Bury this weekend using all sorts of camera gear. Who cares what cameras everyone is using, it's the photos that count.

Yes we've had snow today in the North East but nothing to block the roads. although it did slow them down a bit. My concern is crossing the Pennines, the M62 is a high level route.

Just checked various weather sites David and Saturday seems to be snow free with bright sunshine!, Snow is forecast for Sunday which would make traveling a bit more hazardous. Should we say Saturday?

Yes, Saturday sounds good. I'm not sure about going to Burrs first thing, it would mean an even earlier start from Durham, but I'll check with Barrie.

Probably somewhere around that time Daz if we decide to go depending on weather conditions! I think everyone will want an early dart home as well.

I shall try and get there earlier than 1pm, mid morning at the latest or it won't be worth travelling all that way. I agree about getting away earlish afterwards.
