Steam Punk events

OK, so Blade of Whitby tells me that there's the biggest Steam Punk festival of the year in Lincoln on the weekend of 6th-9th September. The Asylum should be worth a visit for those down in that area.

For those in the Bradford/leeds area there will be a gathering at the Saltaire Festival on Sat 15th September. Although they don't mention them they wil be there.

I can't make the Lincoln one,but may be able to get to saltaire, as that's the weekend I return from France.

If any body is interested can they pick up this thread and run with it/ organise meeting points/times?

I'm up for Saltaire seeing the last time was so much more relaxed than Whitby

I saw the post at the last minute but already had plans for the day, just got back from a harrowing day in Blackpool with the grandchildren, believe me I would sooner have gone to Saltaire

Still on a Steampunk theme, does anyone know where I can get a pair of wide fitting cowboy boots, can't find a shoe shop anywhere that sells them, and having fat feet I don't want to buy online.

Maybe a Harley dealer? Or custom bike shop
