stargazing piccy

just thought I'd share this one with you all. My Dad and I went out to watch the Leonids meteor shower in November. We stood out in the cold from 4am to 6am surrounded by 4 cameras on tripods. We saw a fair few meteors and thoughoughly enjoyed ourselves.




I took this shot as we were packing up on my *istDL2 with Zeiss Flektogon 35mm F2.4, at F2.4 and 30 secs, ISO 400.

I was pretty pleased with it to begin with, then I spotted the meteor trail across the top. Ammusingly it is the only such trail we managed to capture all night.
