These are a nice pair of images. The stacking of 15 is so incredibly sharp throughout.
Really nice set of images

Not bad at all!
I suspect using something like Zerene Stacker might have done a better job at cleaning up the edges - especially around the second image; However one can't complain as Combine ZP is free! How did you isolate it from any background - or is it simply on a piece of plain card/ paper?

Thanks Malcombe &Andy.
The moth was held on the point of a pin which, in turn, was held in a clothes peg.(All very technical, you understand!)
Any pin in the image was then cloned out in Elements 11.
Thanks for looking,
Roger.
Zerene Stacker?
Christmas is coming..........

I looked at Zerene Stacker but it seems to be aimed at professionals who have built all manner of technological goodies using hard drive stepper motors and the like that advance each frame by fragments of a millimetre. Such jobs have to be left running all night. These pictures demonstrate that wonderful results can be had from just few carefully planned frames and the use of a great piece of freeware. Yes, you do have to allow an amount of space around each image for cropping out the processing artefacts but once you realise this and take account of it, Roger's images clearly show what you can expect.
