Stacked jewellery image

Haven't picked up a camera in 5 weeks or so due to back of mojo. Still having my foot in a walking boot so can't move it much as then the tendons flex and it hurts and my mobility is limited. Doc says 2 more weeks and hopefully I'll then start physio on it.

So today I thought I'd shoot my mother in laws pendant necklace. It's not a great shot but it's certainly better than no shot and that's where I've been recently.

Yongnuo flash camera left, 105mm zoom, snood, CTB gel, 1/8th power. 2nd Yongnuo flash camera right, 105mm zoomed, honeycomb grid, CTO gel, polariser 1/4 power.

K3ii, O-RC1 remote with Sigma 105mm & C-PL, exposure was 1/180th, f9 and ISO 100 to kill the ambient light. 17 images stacked for front to back focus

You will get your mojo back and your health, you only have to see how far you have come from the start of your accident, so it's all uphill from now and a great start with this lovely photo!

Watch out Gareth, macro is adictive and you look like a good mark for it presently !

We had to pop out a few days ago and as we drove along I felt miserable seeing all the amazing autumn colours. Gonna search eBay for a cheap mobility scooter
