Hi Guys, I've bought a variety of gear off SRS following a number of positive reviews on this site. Primarily I've been dealing with Doug and Matt, always by email. I have found them very courteous and the responses handled quickly and efficiently. On one occasion where I had an issue they offered to loan me kit at no cost, to be honest this was completely unexpected and very generous.
Everyone can have off days, not everyone will get the best service all the time. My experience with SRS reflects most of the experiences I've seen on this site regarding them, a positive one.
Regards,
Damian.

I always think this is odd, surely the other way round would make more sense. It's free delivery if you buy via the ebay shop, if you buy from them direct via the website the delivery charges are there to see.
Offer free delivery if you use the SRS website, as it saves them eBay and Paypal fees. Next time, people are more likely to use your own website rather than search eBay and potentially end up buying a lens from elsewhere.
AS it is currently, their eBay transactions must return a far lower margin than sales through their own website, which would be fine if there was an encouragement to use their own website, but there isn't.

Ahoy!
Does anyone know if there are any 'live' discount codes for SRS? I can't find any online, though that means very little. No harm in asking so they say. I just don't know who 'they' are . . . very sus

My only bad experience with SRS was when they sent me a nikon version of the lens I ordered!!
Was replaced in double quick time, and with much apology.
They have certainly had a few quid out of me, and I've been happy with the experience. I reckon that must make them a good shop.

Surely that's not a bad experience. Everyone makes mistakes, it's how those mistakes are dealt with that is the measure of customer service.

Exactly my point.
From all the stories I read on the forum, this is the usual experience at SRS. Any problems seem to be dealt with in a timely manner, with the customer left happy.

Just thought I'd sing the praise of SRS.
Got on the phone today and spoke with Chris and, as is the norm, the service was 2nd to none
Now where's that pesky postman
