I have not been on here for too long, but recently I was concerned that my K5 may have a sensor stain, so I returned it to SRS and they checked it out for me and it was ok just a dirty sensor.
Then they cleaned it for me and sent it back FOC - what great customer service and a brilliant business.
Thanks Doug and SRS

Certainly is - but I should still get yourself a decent sensor cleaning kit. Then to clean the sensor takes only a very few minutes and is dead easy (I have to do it fairly often as a result of airshows because of changing lenses - and so I do it there and then in less than 5 mins, and immediately see the difference on the new images!)I have not been on here for too long, but recently I was concerned that my K5 may have a sensor stain, so I returned it to SRS and they checked it out for me and it was ok just a dirty sensor.

This approach means that you will always be ready for the unexpected by carrying the kit (in my case, a small zip pouch containing a specialist cleaning fluid dropper and some short handled swabs,as well as a few specialist lens cleaning cloths) around with you in your camera bag. The used swabs and cleaning cloths are then be used for cleaning the lenses themselves before you dispose of them!

K-3 II, K-3 and a K-70 from SRS (having now relegated the K-30 /"K-50" to a backup body), & some Sigma and Pentax lenses (and a lot of old 35mm gear!)

My new Sigma 50-500mm OS developed a fault a couple of weeks ago (wouldn't focus on jack) ... Chris kindly had it picked up and then sent it to Sigma for warranty work. Was returned yesterday working better than new.
Wondering if Sigma has a faulty batch because the first one I had was returned for replacement due to the same type of problem but this time it completely gave up.
Anyway, big thanks to Cris and SRS.
