Hello Katie

I love the colours but find that my eyes are flicking round looking for a clear focal point.

Glorious colours and I love the soft focus effect. Being really fussy, I'd move the daffodil a little to the left to biudge the gap between the crocuses.

You should be very pleased with this.
Best wishes,

Andrew

Duplicated thread removed.

Nice colours and style. Not quite sure about the splash of yellow and the glass.
Best regards, John

Dave, front crocus is SUPPOSED to be the main focal point~!
Andrew, the daff just wouldnt stay where i wanted it to, should have moved the glass around.
John, sorry about the duplictate, couldnt get photo on first post. I like the yellow, but the glass isnt good. Must do better.
Thanks for all your comments

I quite like it, Katie and I think it wouldn't be as good without that bright yellow daffodil. The only thing I don't like is the glass and the way you've cut the bottom off. It needs something more stylish/elegant. Maybe a portrait orientation and a real nice vase (displayed in full) would help? Otherwise great colours and DOF.

Thanks lidy, i agree about the glass. the only problem is the flowers have really short stems, only about 4 inches, so finding a vessel to hold them was the problem.
Maybe try using a clamp of some kind instead.

Love the photo and wouldn't change a thing personally (except for a more interesting background?). Thanks for sharing.
