...and at times I thought it would never happen.

Mind you, it was still only 2 degrees centigrade.

Very nice.
I saw some snowdrops today, and even a daffodil just turning yellow.

I didn't get down on the frozen ground to photograph the flowers though as it doesn't feel much like spring here -4C today with a windchill making it feel -8C. More snow due tonight too .

What a smashing picture, rather looks as if the Snowdrops are marching towards the camera.

Thank you for you kind comments, gents.

(I'll shut-up about our +2 degrees and be grateful it's not worse. Mind you, pretty soon you'll have fields and fields of lovely tulips to photograph, Gwyn...)

And ladies .
Yes the tulips seem along way off at the moment though.
Off to thaw out in the Canaries in a couple of weeks though .

Nice shot. Ours haven't poked their heads above ground yet.

Well, Barrie, I'm not surprised. Isn't Durham on the same latitude as Oslo? (Geography a bit shaky!) But that cathedral and the view from the bend in the river and the access to the Dales... Spring'll come, it'll come and feel all the sweeter for you when it does!

And Greytop's an old grouse for not getting carried away once in a while. He should know better wielding, as he obviously does a brand new K7. Not that I'm jealous or anything, after all, there are snowdrops in the park even if I do have to capture them with my old K100D...

Cheers both,

Andrew

We had snow in London yesterday afternoon. Didn't settle though, thankfully. K.
