I enjoy collecting nice versions of the old film spotmatics. I have one which seems to have a non-standard self-timer in that it lacks the usual circular silver retaining screw cap. Please does anyone know if this was produced this way or if this is a repair? Many thanks

You can see the circular mark where the cap used to be.

AFAIK it is just a push on cover over the black bit and as John says, you can see the mark where it used to be. You might see if someone has a spares/parts camera who can let you have the bit.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.
