Great action - well not the guy with the stopwatch! I like the ones with the wheels off the ground, look very sharp and they have energy. All we need now David is some motorsport events running through the lake district to give a better backdrop.

I am not known for Motorsport images, but yesterday had my first foray into this world (in a photographic sense at least) at Donington Park. This was the first day of the British Touring Cars Championship meeting, mostly practice sessions with a couple of races. These days are great for photography, probably better than the race days when it can get a bit too busy if you don't have privileged access (which I didn't).
Here are a few from the day, I tried to vary the styles a bit hope they work OK.

They've come out well, lovely shots David.
Looks warmer from these shots than the reality ! Sunday, although a lot warmer, was wet, misty and dull (racing was good though) so I think we got the best weather for photo's.

That's a wonderful set of images, even more considering its not your usual scene. The panned shots are expertly done and that's something that takes a lot of practise to get right.
