Something different from me

I am not known for Motorsport images, but yesterday had my first foray into this world (in a photographic sense at least) at Donington Park. This was the first day of the British Touring Cars Championship meeting, mostly practice sessions with a couple of races. These days are great for photography, probably better than the race days when it can get a bit too busy if you don't have privileged access (which I didn't). Here are a few from the day, I tried to vary the styles a bit hope they work OK. Lift-Off - K-3, Sigma 150-500, Monopod My name is 'Marshall' - K-3, Sigma 150-500, Monopod Clio Pan - K-5IIs, Pentax DA L 55-300 Ginetta Pan - K-5IIs, Pentax DA L 55-300 Dancing Insignia - K-3, Sigma 150-500, Monopod On The Clock - K-3, Sigma 150-500, Monopod Finally, for anyone that ever doubted the sharpness / IQ of their Sigma 150-500 lens, here's a 100% crop of the above image: Comment and criticism welcome as always. Sincere thanks to George Carman for getting free access for myself and my Wife Nicky. Regards David

Well done David. great shots. Unlike bikes its always difficult with cars to get the sense of speed when going around the track. Seems like its not an issue for you.. Love the Clio one the most....
