Some Trees

Went for a wander in the rain the other week in Fifty Acre wood, an overgrown woodland on the outskirts of Bristol. Came across a clearing. Took these. All Pentax K3, DA 55-300 WR.

Stunning set, lovely colours and with almost a 3d quality.

Nice set! For me it No. 2 and 8.

2 as I like the 3 strong vertical line areas that run through the image and then the lighter lines that mimic them. 8 as it has a more intimate feel to it.

Definitely a theme running through this set! I like them although No.1 i'd have cropped out the dark border on LHS as it unbalances the shot IMHO.

A superb set of woodland pics, much more difficult to achieve than one would imagine, especially like No6 which appears to have it's own dark vignette, i've only just acquired this lens but i'm really enjoying having fun trying it out, much better than my old Sigma 70-300!
