Also, unless there's something special somewhere, if you have three different lengths of tube, youi should have a range of 9 combinations.

Tube combinations:

1, 2, 3, 1+2, 1+3, 2+3, 1+2+3 = 7 different combinations, 8 if you count no tubes at all (but that's silly).
