Out today, first shot is with the K5, DA 300 and the 1.4x TC. The rest are with the K3 and DA 560. All C&C welcome

These are lovely Alan, I marvel at your ability to capture the birds in flight so well. Exposures are spot on and compositions are too. The only slight negative for me (nit picking) is the dark spot on the last one to the right and just below the Spoonbill's beak. I'm not sure if it's a dust bunny or something on the water, but it distracted my eye a little.

Thanks David. Beginning to slowly get to grips with this big lens on a tripod malarky.

Great work Alan. It's easy to see the progress you've made with the 560. Almost tempted into giving a 560 consideration.

Only joking - have just joined the RSPB but can only dream of shots like these on my humble 150-500
