I think the best way out of this would be to offer to move to a larger house with much larger rooms...one of which could act as your indoor photo studio and she could have a pantry and perhaps a walk in shoe cupboard...or something.
Let us know how you get on.

And if she's still not persuaded, find out what she wants and negotiate. We once got a new 3 piece suite and hi-fi in quick succession. Guess which one I wanted...

On the other hand, if you already have a mustache then this point is moot.
Getting older and grumpier. Taking longer to decide which lens to use today.

A collection of manual primes to keep me in touch with the pleasures of doing it old-school.

I've just ordered a chinese adapter so I can use this on my K-1, not sure if it'll be able to focus to infinity. Ideally I'd want to try it with the astrotracer function.

I think you will find it will focus further than that.

What you need are lenses, more lenses, bigger lenses, better lenses, faster lenses, vintage lenses and when you have these, your pictures will be perfect!

I’m trying to convince herself that this is a great option for landscape images. Okay, okay, she was great over the K1ii and (mumbles number) lenses. Also understanding about the 645Z and the 45-85 lens. She is, however, drawing the line on my purchase of this. Says it’s not portable enough. Pshaw! Has she never heard of an axle and tractor tyres?
Now here’s the thing, what arguments could you suggest to overcome this, in my view, totally unreasonable objection?
All arguments gratefully received.
