Kris, coincidentally there's a small (and declining) wheat town in Victoria with the same name. Substitute Holden or Ford ads for the Oldsmobile sign, and you're there - silos, railway, the works...
It resonates with me, as I used to work in the NW of Victoria.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

I changed the white balance in Lightroom from the AWB setting to daylight (ahh, the joys of RAW...) wich I think improves the sky colour and brings out the pink tinge of the setting sun. Better, do you think? K.

Outstanding, Kris. Where can I start?
Obviously, the door and window from Stanton are just my kind of thing.
"Big Skies, Stanton", is what I was trying to achieve with a couple of shots I took in Majorca. I got the idea from paintings by Andrew Wyeth, who was American. This is wonderful and very evocative.
But the Oldsmobile garage... I could spend ages there and probably would. Great conversion, too.
The corrugated side of the grain silo screams Americam mid-west (although I've not been further west than Lands End!) The light is perfect.
Not mad on sunsets, but that one is exceptional!
Regards,
A.

The sunset was worth waiting for, but they are all good.
