Can anyone recommend a soft case for the DA12-24, I don't really want one of the heavily padded Lowepro cases more something on the lines of a neoprene case?

thanks

Pentax soft case S100-120 is exactly the right size.

Thanks for that John, do you happen to know if the lens fits in the case with the hood attached in the reverse position?

Sorry Simon, that I don't know. Perhaps Chris at SRS would try one for you and let you know?

It's always seemed odd that this is the only Pentax lens I've bought (except the original kit lens and second hand offerings) which wasn't supplied with a case as standard. I could understand if it was a budget model but it's certainly not that.

Hi Simon, yes it does, all dedicated Pentax cases allow this. It's a little pricey though £43

I'm currently looking for the genuine case for the DA*16-50 if anyone has one to sell, Pentax S100-140 Soft Lens Case.
