Nice shot Glyn, I suspect we may see a glut of these from this area given the weather tonight
Here is one I took about an hour or so ago (still snowing!). Again the K-7 with 16-50 @ 34mm, f/8, 4 second exposure (tripod mounted of course).

Only recycling for us this week, but not unusually, not collected on the correct, snow-free, day. Now there is no hope:Don't get too jealous. I wear a pair of 'sealskins' (some kind of waterproof elasticated wool) bought from an camping shop. They are relatively thin, about the same as a tight pair of leather driving gloves. It's can sometimes be a little difficult to locate the shutter button by feel but on the whole I am able to press buttons and turn dials etc. Despite being quite thin they are extremely warm and airtight and waterproof. They also have excellent grip. About £25 if I recall correctly.
I've also recently seen some interesting gloves in another outdoorsy shop. They were thick skiiing-style gloves for shooting, and the index finger zips back at the knuckle and folds back out of the way while you, literally, take the shot. Unfortunately the thumb doesn't do the same thing. They were about £40.
