Not a flake here!
It's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog!

Is the thaw starting?

Taken this morning in my Durham garden. The ice on a cordiline (not sure how to spell cordiline) plant appears to be thawing after several days of sub zero temperatures.

A less hurried edit of my shot entered in the fortnightly competition "juxtaposition".

Best wishes and Merry Christmas, Kris.

Sooo lucky?

The council haven't emptied the bins. On Xmas day I'm now going to have to drive over 100 miles to collect relatives who don't have a 4x4. The sky dumped another couple of inches overnight. I'm going to have to shift snow off the drive yet again. Oh - and it's just started snowing ......

Lucky?? It looks nice when the sun is shining - but I think the novelty is wearing off.

Here - have a depressing photo .....
