Snow in Oldham

We seem to be having an extended cold snap - so I've had quite a few chances to fire up the K30 out and about in the snow. The first two, I took about 10 days ago. Below Besom Hill ..... Still below Beson Hill ..... This is the 'waterfall' in Pingot Quarry, Oldham. It was a cold day, the light was very flat, I didn't take a tripod and only had the kit lens with me. It's sort of OK, but maybe a bit busy. I did think a bit of late afternoon sun might help - but before I had a chance to get back there again in better light, we had a substantial snow fall and it covered up some of the more interesting icicles. Andrew
