Hi Kris. I know nothing about cleaning the inside of lenses but in my days in engineering I had to teach people to clean Air Bearings and the recommended fluid was ACETONE. This leaves absolutely no residue and evaporates almost instantly. (DO NOT USE LADIES NAIL VARNISH REMOVER AS THIS HAS AN ADDITIVE TO KEEP THE NAILS FROM DRYING OUT) Acetone can be bought at any chemist in a small bottle for £1.00 'ISH. I would think the hairspring cleaner that Tony-O mentioned is a similar fluid. Do not get it on any plastic parts as it will melt them! CHEERS Vic.
Born again biker with lots of Pentax bits. Every day I wake up is a good day. I'm so old I don't even buy green bananas.
