IMHO There are slight marks on the rear lens retainer ring which indicates some work has been done.
Perhaps it's been serviced?
I noticed as I have done this on my old lens, but I'm ham fisted, and critical!

I see what you mean, but Harrison Cameras are a long established, reputable family business and it does come with a 12 month warranty. Were it not for the fact that I already possess a copy of this excellent lens, I would have bought it without hesitation.IMHO There are slight marks on the rear lens retainer ring which indicates some work has been done.
