I think someone sold one here not long ago for around £400 if I'm not mistaken.

Ffordes also have a 1000mm f/8 for a fraction under a pound a millimetre.

I saw three at around 92,000 Yen in Japan, this equated to around 600 pounds...was very tempted.....
