Cheers guys, I took about 10 shots of this guy, started off at my usual kind of magnification, then increased till i was at full extension on the bellows, 1;1 on the lens and with a raynox dcr 250, boy is it hard to shoot at that level, trying to keep it in frame is really difficult, had a couple with just half its head

Absolutely brilliant!

I can't help wondering what the fly saw through those eyes when you were taking the pictures.

A flies eyes are traditionally where you get problems with moire on reduction.

I've not noticed any serious moire on any of these.

That's true alright, I've seen plenty to back that up,
I cant take any credit for the lack of it in this shot, that's all down to the magic of pentax 😁

Some people might find this useful.

Just found a webpage that shows the type of moire problems that can be encountered and how to fix them.

Some serious skills here, if you haven't tried macro, especially at high magnifications like the last one, you cannot imagine what difficulties you can face.

Well done Derek, you make me want to get out in the garden, the only problem is it's raining and windy all the time!

Cheers
