Im working between this site and a dog forum the other site is quick to load so there seems to be some problem here for sure.

Yes from me as well. Its as slow as when I mentioned it sometime ago.

No problems with the speed here.
As a test I just loaded page 4 of
What's the greatest album cover of all time ?
and it took 8.46 secs, which isn't bad some
ebay pages take 30 secs to load.
Page 1 of same thread took 6.37 secs and none
of the images would have been in my cache.
Reloading page 4 took 7.3 secs Images would have been
cached.
I'm timing these with FasterFox on Firefox 2
sadly it won't work with later Firefox versions.
I like to see how long pages take to load

It has run incredibly slowly for the last two days, but back up to speed today. I have had no problems with other sites..any explanations?

I'm on mobile broadband and its a couple of seconds at most.
You re-booted your routers and PC and cleared and internet caches/temp folders? You've run a scan for trojans and viruses?
Either that or there's a script kiddy next door downloading the world onto his home built warez server. And he's nicked all the bandwidth from your twig.

28 sec to load this page other sites loading as normal.
