There a 5 Pentax A 35-105mm f3.5 listed, between 90 and 160quid.

The Pentax F 24-50mm f4 I have seen go for around 150quid, I can remember reading a review of this lens somewhere, written by our own John Riley but can't remember where I saw it.

Not sure about the Sigma though. Good luck with your sale.

I would suggest starting the lenses at a modest price and just letting them fly...Pentax lenses have been doing very well for quite a while.

A photo of the lens and a good description are essential though.
Best regards, John

Thanks Clarky. Would like to follow the 35-105 but all efforts to trace on E.Bay has failed. Can you guide me to this posting, please.

Ebay's search system is stupid. Put in 35-105 and it won't find the lens. Put in 35-105mm and it will.

By the way, Emiliaarts usually over-price their stuff.

If I may share a thought...
Don't sell the SMC A 35-105, specially if it's in good condition.
It's arguably the only Pentax zoom that rivals prime quality at any given focal length. It has a very useful close focus setting, a nice wide aperture over the entire range (F3.5) and is very sharp, wide open. Not to say.....It's build like a tank and will last forever. Sell it....and you will regret it.

Martin.
Best regards,

Martin.

Two appear to be the same, maybe all three are, it looks a bit odd to me.

The F SMC came in one version. with a 4,0-5,6 variable aperture.
Maybe there is a cheaper Takumar Non SMC version around. Don't know that for sure.

Neither of them come close to the build and optical quality of the SMC A.

Martin.
