Hey Pete,
just to confirm what you probably already know by now:
An AF adjustment does not affect what you see in the viewfinder.
It is just a software value informing the AF algorithm about the amount of compensation needed to obtain precise focus.
An AF adjustment does affect manual focus confirmation, though.

Well worth doing the adjustment so that MF lenses benefit
from the green light and the beep. Trap focus also works
better (assuming it's available on the K100D ).

I wasn't aware the K100D had a debug menu. I know of it in the K10D/K20D and K-7. Either way, I haven't used it. No need for with MF lenses,and the two DA's I have are spot on, focus wise.
If you mean field of view the answer is no. If you mean something else you need some more explaining...
I don't think it does.
Like if I adjust an AF lens, for front or back focus, that doesn't change the apparent view in the viewfinder does it ?
