Hi I've had some feedback from another member of the site about the way the Add Comment and Preview Comment works and was wondering before we did any changes that I could get some feedback from yourselves about what you think?

Any comments that you have would be great.
Thanks
Richard

It probably could do with being bolder and perhaps "Post Reply" is as clear as it could get.
Best regards, John

'Post Reply' is too specific.
I have no problem with the way it is. It wouldn't hurt for Add Comment to be bolder.

edit: Actually as this only relates to replies, 'post reply' is fine.

Shouldn't that be "emboldened"?

Isn't that an 'americanism'?

Site's fine by me, I can find my way around and comment without problem.

Maybe the edit option could be looked at. I've seen mistakes in some of my post headings and not been able to amend them.

Leave as is .You can still edit a post after it's been posted anyway.

That's typical........ Asking opinions about the way add comment/preview comment works, while that part of the forum is probably 100% fool proof. What can possibly go wrong there. Unless you don't know/understand the meaning of the words Add or Preview.

This has been discussed already and John has explained the reason why. And although I don't like it either, there are very good reasons to leave it, as it is. Sadly but true.

May I suggest to the team you have a look at this topic ? Please, pretty please with a lot of sugar on top ?
Now....there is really some room for perfecting the forum.

Martin.

Don't people have the entitlement to ask whatever they want to

Embolden is/was the typesetting term used on both sides of the Atlantic. Folk nowadays tend to say "bolded". These are same people who use "cap up" for capitalize, ignoring the fact that capitalization can go only one way -- and that's up. Pedantry is clearly out of place in this forum, so apologies for straying from the normal protocol. For what it's worth, I've never had a problem with the Add Comment/Preview Comment options.

I don't have a problem with anything' Martin. It has came to my attention on various posts that you write quite aggresively when it's not needed.

Maybe that's just your way Martin

That's the first time someone accuses me of aggressive writing, and not only that.....apparently I do so on various posts.

If its not to much trouble, could you point me to those posts?
Because I really would like to see examples of that "aggressive writing style", that by your assumption defines my character.
Best regards,

Martin.
