Puma posted a great link to Steve McCurry. There are plenty of togs out there that do wonderful work. They tell a story that main media prefer not to discuss. Maybe the powers that be prefer to condition us to neglect others and ignore the real issues in the world.

As I have previously posted links to Karl Grobl, here is another tog that I have the greatest respect for, James Nachtwey.

I'm not that familiar with Karl Grobl but I certainly am familiar with
James Nachtwey. I have a copy of his DVD 'War Photographer' which is a very compassionate and penetrative study of this genre of photography.
