Love the colours and the isolation of the subjects, particularly with the macro.

Really like these! Up our way, there's not much that's anywhere near to providing such great subject matter. Lovely images, all of them.

It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

The first 12 are with the Macro, the last 2 non Macro.
1. Fig Leaves - 3 days ago there was only buds, no green leaves!
2. Acer - I have a couple of these in large pots, this one is the larger and greener one.
3. Blackcurrant buds and flower
4. Blueberry bonanza - I have 2 of these in an old water tank, these produce an abundance of flowers but tiny fruits.
5. Blueberry flower and Bee Bum
6. Bluebell bud
7. Apple Blossom time
8. Grape leaves - again these were just glowing buds a week ago, now the leaves are showing strongly
9. More Apple Blossom
10. Apple Blossom with pollinator
11. Final Fig
12. Unknown Flower - I'm not good at remembering what I've planted
13. Blossom bough - taken with the non macro A 200/4
14. the Unknown Flower - taken with the non macro A 200/4
A very basic set, but a good record of April 14th 2025 - if I remember I'll try to do the same again on the same day next year
