Has anyone taken advantage of the US$99 upgrade from version 3 to version 4pro, if so, is it worth the upgrade : thanks

Yup, and yup

The "dodging" control (under the fine exposure group) is brilliant.
They've improved highlight recovery - not that I've played with that much.
The contrast adjustments can now be shown in the curves tool, and the curves tool has a histogram on it. Fab!
The spotting and patching are pretty good.
Also, I notice that you can open a directory and a choice of levels (1, 2, infinite) etc - which is a real boon for the way I happen to store my files!

I upgraded via Silkypix UK who had a really great price (£59 upgrade, £29 for additional license). Originally I bought from ISL Japan, so it was no problem going via the UK
(But if you bought via the US then that IS a problem apparently)

Agree with MattMatic! That dodge feature has restored many of my underexposed images - Most of them underexposed flash images that my reading of MattMatic's tome on Pentax flash can't seem to correct ... And so easy to use too! Also, development has been handed to another thread, so you can move to another folder while developing is underway...
