Could just be a file corruption if you haven't tampered with the settings. Try loading your installation disc, then reinstall - if the installer offers the repair/modify option, choose this. Hopefully, that will correct it.

From what I can gather you are correct Steven it is file corruption so it looks like I`ll have to buy a copy.

Cliff - is it actually SILKYPIX you have, or the Pentax offering? If it's the Pentax Digital Camera Utility 4, I can burn you a copy if it helps?

A couple of days ago When I opend my files all the DNG images have this prohibited symbol attached to them,[IMG]http://i48.tinypic.com/2pq2bnd.jpg[/IMG]
Not a clue how its happened but the images are locked and wont allow any processing at all.
All other programs are fine such as PSPx4 and Picasa just Silkypix and new images added in the last two days are ok.
Anyone know whats going on? any help most appreciated.
